YespowerTIDE's memory access patterns are optimized for general-purpose CPU L2 cache. The goal is broad CPU participation and fair early distribution, with less advantage for specialized hardware than many conventional PoW designs.

Can I mine Tidecoin with a GPU?

YespowerTIDE is designed to be CPU-friendly and GPU-unfriendly. While GPU mining may be technically possible, the design goal is to limit specialized-hardware advantage and keep mining accessible to ordinary CPU users.

How much TDC can I earn per day?

Earnings depend on your CPU hashrate relative to the network hashrate (8.50 MH/s) and the current block reward (0.62500 TDC, Era 4). Use a mining calculator or check pool statistics for estimates.

Can I mine Tidecoin on my phone?

Yes. The Tidecoin Android Miner is available on GitHub. You can also mine from any smartphone browser at pool.tidecoin.exchange/workers.

What happens after AuxPoW activation?

Tidecoin will transition from standalone CPU mining (YespowerTIDE) to scrypt-based merged mining with Litecoin. Litecoin miners will be able to mine TDC simultaneously at no extra cost, significantly increasing network security.
